Let's Set Some Goals. Plus, Save the Date!
We're not sure what the weather's been like this month where you are, but here in Toronto it's been cold, and snowy, and dark. Totally normal for this time of year — and yet with the school closures, other closures and general pandemic malaise, our resolution on January 1 was simply to make it through January.
And now, we've just about arrived! There are almost an entire 10 hours between sunrise and sunset today, and while it's still full-on winter, we're feeling slightly more ready to take on 2022. And with that in mind, we're dedicating this newsletter issue to goals. See below for our new article (and free downloadable!) on setting business goals you can keep.
One of our goals has been to start holding regular events so members can meet, chat about various business topics and help each other succeed. So we're excited to announce our upcoming event on setting business goals for the year. We'll be sending more details out soon, but in the meantime, block out Tuesday, February 15 at 7 pm Eastern in your calendar. We're excited to meet you!
Yours in making,
P.S. In other goal-related news, when we launched Workshop we committed to contributing 1% of revenue to organizations supporting Indigenous makers and entrepreneurs. So we're happy to say we've just made a small donation to the Native Women's Association of Canada. Thank you for helping to make this possible!
